Why are humans so obsessed with Gold? Is it linked with our origins as a species? And why are we so accepting of our Masters? With the increasing expectations of an imminent catastrophic global financial crisis there are many economic advisors suggesting that property and shares should be sold and the proceeds invested in gold. Gold it seems has an almost magical property that ensures it retains its value when shares and property don't. Gold has always been seen as having great value, but why? What is the real value of gold?  Gold is a relatively rare metal and has a number of qualities that seem to make it irresistible to humans - it has a shiny lustre, it does not tarnish, it has good electrical conductive properties, it can easily be combined with other metals to form alloys and it is very malleable allowing it to be formed into complex shapes, thin sheets or wires. Our moon still retains many mysteries that science does not explain. Although science proposes many theories, they fail to answer all the anomalies identified. The theory that it was once part of Earth was proven false once moon rocks were analysed. That it formed from left over debris from Earth's formation was also disproved as the greater magnetic field would always attract the debris, thus leaving nothing from which the moon could form. Evidence also exists to suggest that the moon is far older than Earth. Another popular scientific theory is that the moon was somehow "captured" by the Earth’s gravitational attraction but no evidence exists to support this theory. Isaac Asimov, summarised it best - "It’s too big to have been captured by the Earth. The chances of such a capture having been effected and the moon then having taken up nearly circular orbit around our Earth, are too small to make such an eventuality credible." If ancient aliens, higher beings or multidimensional life forces did not have anything to do with the creation of life, then the current accepted scientific explanation of the evolution of life means that I should be able to throw some yeast in a field of wheat and eventually, given enough time, perfectly formed loaves of bread would appear. Why would that action be considered lunacy yet the scientific theory of the creation of life out of primordial ooze considered fact? If the solar system has remained relatively unchanged for millions of years, why are there so many ancient references to Saturn as a sun? With the naked eye, Saturn is a tiny dot of light. Why would the ancients revere, worship or respect that particular "star" in the night sky and refer to it as Sol the Sun God, Helios, the "best sun" and other similar sun referencing names.
